DRAGONFLY WEEK

It's a flutter of excitement at Activ People, Skills and Community Busselton and Bunbury, as members are busy completing their giant dragonfly and mural creations for exhibition at ArtGeo during Activ Dragonfly Week, 24 - 28 March 2008 (www.dragonflyweek.activ.asn.au).

The giant fire kilned dragonfly, with elaborate beaded copper wings, will be the centrepiece of the exhibition, thanks to a fantastic group effort by all involved.

In many cultures the dragonfly represents "The Magic of Potential" - a fitting theme for Activ Dragonfly Week - Activ's major awareness and fund raising initiative for the year. All money raised during the week will go to Activ, in an effort to maintain and improve the services it provides to people with disability and their families.

Official opening 28 March 11.30 - 12.30

Includes a special performance by the Shoestring Players
