'Geo Bay' a new exhibition by Jane Holland

The exhibition kicks off at 6 PM on 10th October in the newly renovated ArtGeo gallery, 11 Queen Street, Busselton. Entry is free and all are welcome.

Jane works in a variety of mediums; oil, watercolour, pastel, acrylics, and inks, always careful to use archival quality supports and mediums and ‘artist’s quality’ paints and inks. Jane has won prizes in all her mediums. Her rich selection of subjects includes nudes, landscapes, seascapes, docks and wharves, people, animals and still life’s, and more recently, large abstracts of vibrant colour and gold leaf. Janes work may be viewed at Driftwood Estate Yallingup, or by appointment at her studio.





Jane Holland is well known in the field of Visual Arts in the South West both in co-ordinating and facilitating exhibitions, events, workshops, life drawing groups etc.


Most recently Jane has been associated with the organisation of the 'Vasse Art Prize' held annually in January, and her own solo exhibition ‘Escape’ at Driftwood Estate Yallingup.


In ‘06, ’07 and ’08 Jane worked on the organisation of the “Vasse Primary School Art Award” and has co-ordinated an Exhibition of 53 pieces of work from 30 South West Artists and taken it to Japan for exhibition in Sugito.


Jane also works at Jacksons Drawing Supplies in Busselton, and has until recently worked as a volunteer at the ‘ArtGeo Gallery’


A resolution last year, of Busselton Shire Council to inaugurate a$10,000 acquisitive art award for the Shire came as a result of an amendment by Jane. (Shire Council meeting 28th Feb ’07)
